Another first is our 2019 Primitivo.  It comes from one of the original blocks planted on the vineyard in 2011.  This wine spent an extra year in neutral oak barrels as it took its time getting through the secondary (Malolactic) fermentation.  Sipping a glass of this Primitivo, I am transported to a carved out cliffside terrace somewhere on the Amalfi Coast, well above an aqua sea, enjoying a sunny, breezy day.  Carrying the bottle to an outside table, it pairs perfectly with friends, pizza and the pasta zucchini dish Stanley recommended.  The wine is fresh, fruity, and complex all at once.  The tannins are present, but soft on the palette. The bright acidity goes well with the food and provides a memorable finish. 100% destemmed.
